what can you do with your HSA funds when you retire other than pay for medical expenses?

I guess I don't like the idea of only being able to use HSA funds for one specific purpose.

At age 65 HSA funds are eligible to work exactly like IRA funds.

But in retirement you probably aren't making any W-2 salary and MFJ I believe you can withdraw upwards of $80k

It's not that simple with the taxes. Most of your social security will count

yes, they do. If you reinvest dividends, then you would sell them to "cash them out" like you would any other investment
