what if, while sober, someone plans to go get drunk AND drive home too?
This totally happens...

You make a valid point but it doesn’t seem like today’s method of treating DUI is very effective

I guess people might think they don’t plan on getting drunk or don’t realize they’re drunk when they enter the party or sit in the drivers seat?

It seems like treating this like premeditated murder is too much (I agree) but DUIs impact people on the other end majorly and for a lifetime (kids losing moms and dads) ... an RM over 21 knows this and still does it?

I don’t know the answer, I’m all for second chances and forgiveness but.... I simply don’t understand how a semi-responsible person does this?
