Coaches should never promise a starting position. They can promise not to
recruit someone else in their class or something like a player from their team who may be marginal.
If any coaches promise an athlete anything more than a chance to compete then they are crap. Competition at positions is what every player should want, a chance to compete. A team will lose the desire to improve if they know that they will continue to wait for a graduation or injury.
I am sure KS isn't promising minutes or starts to any recruit.
