Eons ago at my SLC high school there was a juice vending machine inside the main doors. I used to regularly buy a small can of Tree Top apple juice after track practice. One day I learned that if I pulled the selection knob out very slowly, two or three cans of apple juice would roll down. Yes!!! I felt fine about that.
One early evening after track practice, I put my money in the machine and slowly pulled the knob and I got 13 cans to come down! I was elated. My track buddies praised me. I gave everybody a can and had about five left over for myself. Then, walking home I felt guilty. So from then on, I just pulled the knob normally and only claimed a single can of cold, Tree Top apple juice. Sadly, my 23-year-old son can't even fathom why I felt guilty--and he's a pretty good kid.
