Things I've learned from being in quarantine the last couple weeks
1) I have no idea what I will do with myself 24 hours a day when I retire

2) I have no idea what I'll say to my wife for 24 hours a day when I retire (no wonder my Dad is in his woodshop all the time)

3) I know I need 'organized religion' and my opportunity to got to church each week. It's been four weeks I haven't been able to attend church because it's cancelled, could be another four weeks before we begin even cottage meetings. But I feel the need to meet with my brothers and sisters, take the sacrament, and fellowship together.

4) having a 90 day supply of basic food stuffs on-hand is important, knowing what you actually have is MORE important, and rotating it. We generally have a decent inventory, but because it's in our basement instead of a pantry, we don't rotate it very well. But we've used it several times over the last few years, this time is much more important, we've been able to limit our need to go out to the market, and can use home delivery for most of our needs outside our own inventory.

5) I don't know how people do home arrest, that would stink... I can't stand being relegated to my house all day, and in this situation, we aren't even allowed outside except for a little 'yard time' to get some fresh air (with our masks on).

6) Personal hygiene - when you are afraid of the guy next to you just breathing on you, you get a lot more uncomfortable with people who cough and or sneeze. And maybe it's just my age, but it seems like fewer and fewer parents are teaching their kids to 'cover their mouth', 'cough into your elbow', and "use a kleenex", and the number of grown adults I see who are just rude rude pieces of human garbage that haven't learned any of the above in their 40 years of existence is criminal. People need to learn how to bathe, brush their teeth, use a pocket handkerchief (or a small pocket pack of kleenex). It's not that hard, and people can sit in the US all comfy because Covid-19 isn't a big deal, but we (you) should be glad it isn't a US thing, because we have become too used to not caring what other people think. (sure, no one in Utah is going to eat 'bat', but what if a similar virus found it's way to the Wasatch, how far do you think it could go with 2.5 million kids around before the CDC got it under control?)
