Being ranked and feeling that you have a sense to accomplish something comes when you play legit teams. Being in the WCC hasn’t really helped this team a get ranked . Playing a legit schedule OOC has. Don’t get me wrong I know the WCC has improved but it’s the combination of winning against a decent schedule that has us excited while getting a shot at the tourney. Had BYU not lost to Toledo and UCF last year our fans would be all up in everyone’s business about how great a year they were having going into SDST. We’d have been ranked and there’d be talk of going to a different bowl than Hawaii regardless if that would happen or not.
