What is the best way for teams to defend BYU right now?
1. Double or triple team Yoeli and hope BYU can't hit their threes?
2. Press the guards out on the 3-point line and hope that we won't attack the basket or be good enough attacking the basket?
Loyola tried the former - worked for a while. But then we went off and game over.
San Diego tried the latter. But we tried to shoot the threes anyways until we adjusted in the second half. Could have lost the game. Doubt this will work against us again except for Gonzaga. They have the athletic ability to man up one on one with Yoeli.
