My friend. The question ISNT whether people want Pope now... everyone would agree they would want Pope now.
The question is whether people THOUGHT he would be hired before he was. I think you will find 70-80% of CBers thought he would be.
As far as a lazy hire- you can go back in my history and see pre-hire I was never for Madsen. I was always for Pope. By the way I still would be even if we had less wins. He was the best man for the job.
