Two choices of home purchase vs commute - which do you choose?
The area where you work is in a swanky part of town. It’s very expensive to live near there.
Assume other amenities, schools, etc are even between the two. Both neighborhoods are awesome. Both homes are at your max budget.
A) Sort of crappy house (But big enough) but 5 minute drive 3 days per week
B) Awesome house but 45 minute avg commute 3 days per week
I don’t care if this is a poll fail, I am interested in thoughts with votes.
