I live in northern OK and work in Atlanta, GA. Takes me 4 hrs to get to work...

&, on a good day, 5 hrs to get home, but usually more like 6-7 hrs.  I do this 3-4 times a month.  It's isn't fun.

Take those 45 minutes and do the math: 45 mins out, 45 mins back, that's 1.5 hrs x 3 days/week = 4.5 hrs a week x 52 weeks a year = 234 hrs a year.  But those are "awake" hours so it's not just 234 / 24 hrs to get the number of days, those are hours that you are awake.  So if you get 8 hrs of sleep each day that means you are awake about 16 hrs each day, so divide 234 by 16 and you get 14.625.

You're going to lose almost 15 "waking" days a year, almost half a month, just getting to and from work.  Think of all the time you could spend working on your house, doing a hobby, spending time with your wife and kids that you won't get to do because you're stuck in a car.

No way.
