At the present we haven’t played the Zags a second time yet, nor have we secured 2nd place in the WCC tourney, nor have we won that semifinal game. And at present, all the algorithms don’t even know those things even exist. They can’t factor in games that haven’t happened.


Lose once to the Zags from this point ok and is likely not a big deal. Every team around us is very likely to also lose at least one more game no matter their remaining regular season schedule. Lose twice from here(either both to the Zags or one to them and one to someone else) and those two losses are very likely to cause a dip in the math.
