He’s got the tools, we’ve all seen the upside, he has some big wins/incredible plays. I think he puts it all together this season IF:
- His supporting cast stops letting him down. That’s receivers getting precise and stop letting passes ricochet off their shoulder pads only to get picked and Zach blamed. That’s offensive tackles not letting him get nailed from the backside causing a fumble or big loss.
- His coaches giving him a better chance to win by letting him air it out and STOPPING THE LOW PERCENTAGE CUTESY PLAYS THAT KILL DRIVES OR PREVENT THE TEAM FROM GETTING TWO YARDS AND A FIRST DOWN IN BOWL GAMES!
- He improves his end of game, final drive performance. We saw his Tennessee heroics, but the team ends the game with a turnover way too often. He’ll get there.
