paid attention to the b-ball team and how they’re winning?

It’s not because one guy considers BYU lucky to have him and points to the deficits in his teammates. It’s because each of them plays to win AS A TEAM. Each player recognizes the skill set EVERY player brings. They each want to WIN more than they want to look good individually. A team is more than the sum of the parts.

If Zach wants BYU to win, he needs to start by getting to know the strengths every teammate brings to the table. And every single one brings something positive. Then he needs to know the best way to maximize those strengths for the good of the team at the right time & situation. Hint, it’s not always Zach. He needs to recognize that those teammates will bust their butt for the QB who treats them with respect & acknowledges their efforts. BYU is also lucky to have each and every one of them.

A QB who fails in these things will also fail on the field no matter what kind of talent surrounds him. It’s called being a leader.
