I know the whole, “the backup QB is the most popular guy on campus” cliche, but Baylor looked more poised and patient whilst in the pocket. And it’s not like Baylor was playing UMASS or something, he took on and denied Boise State their NY6 hopes and dreams. I feel like Zach just tries too hard and it ends up costing the team dearly at times (the unnecessary dive in the bowl game that ended in a fumble in the end zone for example).

I’ll support whoever is named starter, but let’s pump the brakes on the Zach enthusiasm. The dude has cost us and won us some games. If he can be consistently good, then I’d say a special season could be in order.
