I didn't say "BYU's great". Fact is the kid underperformed his sophomore year and that is fact.
The "greats" don't make excuses. They perform well even with less. It doesn't matter the sport, the team, the year, etc. The greats get the most out of their teammates, regardless of who they are and they never place blame on anyone but themselves.
Wilson isn't necessarily doing that, but you are for him. Wilson makes poor decisions in crucial moments. It happened at Boise State and Utah his Freshman year, Toledo, SDSU, and Hawaii from this past season. All games he should have won, but couldn't pull it out in the moment we needed him too. QBs get more credit and more blame than they deserve, but as Bill Parcells would say, "We're only as good as our record".
