Clemson's 106 offers were probably to all 4 and 5 star kids, but Washington is a head scratcher unless it was more of an indication that Chris Peterson was losing interest or dealing with the stress and anxiety that made him step down. I think BYU has to be selective because of the honor code and because of academics (not nearly the level of Stanford, but close).
