Obviously the USD and SCU games did not pass the eye test that we as fans have grown accustomed too over these past few months. But even still I think there are a lot of positives to remember:

1. We were favored by 14.5. Obviously not very many more things had to go right (one three from TJ, FTs from Yoeli, etc) to have hit that. Just important context that a 10 point win is not a massive disappointment.

2. The second half of the conference is always tough because teams are seeing us a second time (not SCU but they’re still familiar with us). In the NCAAs you’re playing a team who will have only paid attention to us for the three days they have to prepare after selection Sunday.

3. To me the pinnacle of this team is winning a game in the NCAAs. That’s 100% still on the table and winning (even ugly) makes that more likely.
