They won't fix the leak for free if the tire is more than half worn.
Below 50% tread your in no-mans-land where you have to nurse the tire. Most pumps have a little silver button on the left hand side at the bottom - that when pressed will activate the air at no charge.

Les Schwab will fix it for free (most likely). They do it as a friendly gesture in hopes that when you need new tires
