you have found, combining phone and carrier?

I've been using a Moto E on Republic, paying about $18 per month for service and a phone I paid cash for 3 or 4 years ago. I don't care about brand, but need sufficient memory for apps, preferably a wifi hybrid carrier network to save on data, and a carrier that is reasonably good when I'm away from wifi. Any thoughts?
