Portion control. Exercise. Those are the two effective ones, for me. Also helpful is knowing what foods pack tons of
calories even though I don't enjoy them very much, and just never eating those things. No noshing late at night. And, stopping to figure out if I'm craving something in particular (e.g., you might be mistaking hunger for thirst. Or, if you really want a crunchy apple, all the chocolate chips in the world won't make the apple craving go away. Sometimes, cravings are your body trying to tell you something).
