A gas leak from their water heater ignited. Blew the garage door literally into the house across the street. Blew up their car. Half of their house was thrown into the street. The other half went up in flames.

Everyone survived. Except the cat.

The man was sleeping on the couch in the room above the garage because his wife had kicked him out of bed for snoring too loud. He woke up as the explosion tossed him on the floor. A hole immediately opened in the floor but he was able to run out and get his family out of the house on time.

It was surreal. House looks like it got hit by a predator drone.
