You can’t call a foul on a play where you didn’t call a foul
Yes, it should’ve been a common foul but since they didn’t initially call one on the floor, they couldn’t apply a common foul after review. With video review you can apply a Flagrant 1 or 2 after the fact even when a common foul wasnt initially called, but the refs didn’t see enough to elevate a no-call to a Flagrant 1 or 2.
