Slight tweak to your opening statement...
Just to Mormon it up a bit more:
"I am writing today regarding a topic of great concern to me; namely the omission of BYU from your top-25 voting."
As we all know from opening prayers in Sacrament meetings and General Conference, it adds much more emphasis and importance to your subject if you add "namely" at the beginning.
