Those two extra years of muscle growth and skeletal maturation are probably helpful to some extent. But yeah, for the skill positions in football and any position in basketball, the two years off hurt way more than they help.

It's a dumb, lame excuse, and seems kinda pathetic whenever I see an opposing coach use it.
