Seems possible. He could also be like Few.
With changes in college landscape where sure fire pros may skip college there is some leveling of the playing field (or court as it were). With less separation of the haves and have nots in basketball it is possible to go all the way from Dayton or Provo.

With coaches circle we could likely pay him well. Quality of life is great here. No atmosphere is better when MC is rocking. We consistently have 2+ elite LDS ball players who would consider BYU with great roll players to put around them. We have elite high schools in our back yard to recruit.

Kids graduate but it can be nice to be someplace central to family for grand kids.

He may well move on, but there is ample reason to believe he may well stay and seek to become a legend.

As a side note, not to jinx him but the Pukes thought Giacoletti (sp?) might be amazing after his first year...and he wasn’t so much. I think there was a lot more enthusiasm for Sitake after his first year and that has waned a bit. We fans have a propensity to extrapolate too much from too little data sometimes.

That said, I think he is getting the fly wheel effect going and will build something great and stick around to make it something long lasting and meaningful and get paid really, really well to do so.
