Football didn't even enter my mind. Just enjoy basketball. No need to compare.
Football: 120 players, Basketball: 14 players
Football: 24 specialized starters, Basketball: 2-3 specialized positions
Football: p5 money and prestige, Baskeball: costs are lower to run
Football: Best players have to play 2-3 years in college, Basketball: best players go pro immediately.
