It seems a bit strange to believe any official numbers from China. But the death rate as doubled every week, since early February. But the total number of cases really hasn't moved much in some time. So quarantine must have worked well because according to the Chinese they haven't had infection rates in Bejing or some of the other provinces now for a few days. Even if we're not getting exact numbers we'd be hearing chatter from those able to report it that the numbers were much worse in those provinces.

I think the Korean numbers are misleading due to that idiot cult leader. I'm not sure what happened in Italy but it looks to be stabilized. As for the US, I don't think Trump is really
misleading anyone when he says we have it in control at this point. I don't think the Democrats trying to paint Trump as a bad guy right now over his reaction to the virus is very brilliant on their end, but when do they do anything considered brilliant. At this point, I think we continue to cross our fingers and wait.

I do know someone pretty connected government wise who is pretty confident we do have a cure that is working its way through approval. He didn't say anything more then don't worry.
