There’s enough of a sample size to indicate that the jazz struggle against the better nba teams they’ll face in the playoffs. Jazz have a losing record against those teams.

Jazz no longer have defensive eliteness to relay on. Teams use stretch bigs to pull Gobert out of the paint and away from the rim to defend, and the Jazz wing and guards don’t defend dribble penetration particularly well. The jazz backup bigs are probably the worst defenders in the league. Overall the jazz are soft defensively.

Offensively the jazz have several aging players who are trending down. Mitchell is dynamic but still not particularly consistent and has some bad offensive games. Jazz guards don’t pass well enough to get the ball to Rudy on the roll. Conley has sort of been a disaster.
