I don’t care how BYU has done in the tournament historically
Never in history has BYU had Mark Pope as HC
Never in history have these players made the tournament (sadly)
Never in history has BYU been the #1 3pt shooting team in the country
Here are the facts:
BYU is shooting lights out from 3
BYU is led by a bunch of great seniors
This team is hungry (Gonzaga game is evidence)
Pope has these players completely bought into his system
This BYU team is going to the sweet 16, and maybe further. These guys have earned it and will prove it in a few weeks. Don’t tell me how rare it is for BYU to make it there, history means nothing when talking about Pope and these BYU players.
