I love the breathless "Hindsight is 20/20" stuff now.
I am not saying that the Trump administration is handle this perfectly. They're definitely been missteps.

Trump took some aggressive steps at the beginning of this and was lambaste for it in the press. Some are criticizing the administration's decision to close down travel for most of Europe, calling it xenophobic Biden in his stupid speech a couple days ago basically said exactly this.

Honestly, we're all kind of to blame here. I know I did not take this seriously back in January and February. And I did not think it would turn into what it has. But, I am confident that the steps that are being taken at the federal state, state and local levels will help to slow the spread of this virus, flatten the curve, and hopefully give society more time to deal with us.

I will say this again. Trump has not been perfect in handling this. But, this is not the time for politics. There will be plenty of time this summer for the press, and the Democratic party to go after Trump on his missteps.

And it would be really nice for the press to not carry China's water on this. The blame for this pandemic lies squarely at the feet of the Chinese communist government. They hid this as it was a growing problem, silence doctors in Wuhan and did not inform the international Community of the seriousness of this virus.
