3% is not the true fatality rate. Think of the damage that economy takes
by shutting down major parts of the world for a weeks or months. Also, there are perhaps more appropriate measures to take that would both save lives AND minimize the hit to the global economy. Such as only elderly and at-risk individuals on quarantine. Let the healthy people get the virus and become immune while at risk individuals hunker down.
