It has been proposed by some to have a quarantine on the elderly and those with prior conditions. People generally aren't saying to do nothing. They are saying to let most go about their business while safe guarding those who would most likely need hospitalization. It's an alternative proposal to flatten the curve and prevent overloading our hospitals.

But, when this alternative is presented, you and several others will say that we have to prevent overloading the hospital. Please debate the merits of the proposal, not the goal of it (because everyone pretty much agrees on that part).
