worthless. I feel like 95% of the stuff they are asked to learn is time-filler and the other 5% is actually applicable to their future life.
Don't get me wrong. I strongly believe in learning and education. But we are wasting thousands of hours of opportunity per kid to actually develop skillsets they can leverage later in life. Instead they learn about transforming polygons, Shakespeare, and "computer programming" in the form of Scratch. And these are considered required classses! Don't even get me started on electives.
