Interesting discussion between Cowherd and Ric Bucher put
The probability of the nba season being cancelled at more likely than not. NBA policy currently is only allowing for a couple players with minimal staff to be at practice facilities at one time - and that’s where it is open. There’s too many, particularly those on the older side of their careers, that it’d subject themselves to injury by the time the league looks to get ramped up. Also the latest playoffs could happen is July (assuming a maintained start of next season in October) and this would throw a bunch of the season out the window or get rid of first round playoffs, so there would be an asterisk of sorts to the season, so would players and coaches feel its worth getting back for and making this season have a conclusion? Good discussion mostly driven by what Bucher is saying he hears from nba players, coaches and executives
