Partial employment vs Shared Work for employees
I'm a private practice physician in WA state and unfortunately, I am going to have to cut my staff back in hours to stay afloat.

A few I will have on "standby" and will return to work within 56 days based on the WA program.

Some, I need to cut their hours back but would like to hire them back at some point. They are full time and will be working 1-2 days less/week (from what I read, they won't be eligible for partial unemployment because they make too much in the week, since unemployment is based on weekly hours). So then I read about "Partial employment" and "Shared Work" and I can't quite figure out the difference. Anyone clarification would be appreciated. This really sucks:(
