I disagree with your take. This guy has been nothing but major negativity around here, and he leads it with, "wow, this is not a good sign".
This place has been non-stop with the economic doomsdayers and the everyone is going to die doomsdayers. Talk truth first, don't manipulate statistics. Unfortunately a lot of that is stupidity and repeat misleading news headlines written to trigger clicks.
