Remember when South Korea’s death rate was 0.5% with extensive testing, and many

people thought it was probably the “true” coronavirus death rate? And many even thought it would drop from that level as testing continued. This was a few weeks ago.

As of today, South Korea’s death rate is over 1.4%, with 131 deaths and 9,241 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

You missed a decimal. CDC says the seasonal flu death rate is about 0.1%.
