Perhaps Washington hit its peak already and New York will soon-ish, but then we’ll have different peaks for other major cities down the road. We are just such a large country. Just like we might be a week behind Spain, Chicago might be a week behind New York. I do think that New York will be the highest peak and therefore will represent the peak for the US.
