The worst daily death day was likely a two day total because of a clerical issue with their database. UW hospital is seeing a steady decline in virus related patients. Some other cities might see a spike, but Spokane and Yakima are nowhere nearly as crowded as NY.
The governor just put us on a "stay at home" order despite it looking like the earlier measures, like banning large gatherings, were working. How flat does the curve have to be before we can start to open back up? Most governors seemed happy to follow each other's leads in closing things, and I don't think any of them want to be the one that loosens restrictions first.
