they published another study today THAT SAID THE SAME THING

They aren't walking back these predictions. They are still making similar conditional predictions - if you do nothing then you get a lot of deaths, if you follow certain steps you get a lot fewer deaths. This is still consistent with his statements to Parliament. If you read the papers and listen to his testimony it will all make sense.
