A couple of days ago you were convinced we’d see 400 deaths on Friday. If we don’t see that tomorrow that will be a relief.
So far NYC is driving the bulk of the numbers. As long as no other city flares up like NYC, we might not see a spike in deaths as rapid as the one we saw this week.
Even so, NYC is the largest, most densely populated city in the country so the fact we aren’t seeing exponential growth there every day is a good sign I think. Even as other cities do handle their outbreaks, none of them are as big or as dense as NYC. So none of them individually are likely to see the same curve.
