You are predicting more deaths per day in the US than all deaths worldwide due to the pandemic up to this point and all countries ahead of us have shown a rapid plateau then a
decrease. Why would we be different. Remember this started in November in China.

The following are statistics pulled from a recent article.

On a global basis, we’d expect 14 million to die over the first three months of the year. The world’s 18,944 coronavirus deaths represent 0.14 percent of that total. These figures might shoot up but they are, right now, lower than other infectious diseases that we live with (such as flu).

Overall Covid 19 has not increased the overall mortality rate in the world or the US.
