If we don't have an economy, it won't matter how many ICU beds there are. You will have tens of millions of people without health insurance and without the ability to pay for it. There will be no tax revenues for states to pay for "Medicare for all". States will be bankrupt!

Curve flattening is based on a model. We know the models are wrong. We know the experts don't even know the true behavior and transmission of Covid-19. They made assumptions and now we are observing outcomes that are inconsistent with those assumptions.

If the data doesn't fit, the model is wrong.

And remember — the price of this insanity is that if you have a heart attack, which is quite capable of killing far more people than this virus ever could, the hospital will have no power, no doctors, no nurses and no drugs."
