This is why we'll never be able to have a real conversation in this country
About end-of-life care and related allocation of resources. Henry Ford Hospitals in Michigan put out some COVID-related treatment guidelines that seem to me entirely reasonable, and people started losing their minds because these guidelines contemplate not being able to provide every potential life-saving measure to every single person all the way up to the end, regardless of whether their condition or outlook improves.
