Dumb thing is way too many docs are needlessly exposing themselves on a daily
Basis because they’re just practicing what’s engrained in them rather than common sense
The 2 main decision points in covid pts are 1) do they need admitting (Er) and 2) do they need intubation - everything else can be managed from my home
They’re not physician labor intensive so there never should be a physician shortage
A doc in Nebraska FaceTiming with the nurse would be a lot more useful than a yahoo MSIv
