That's not the point. In June, everything is firing on all cylinders. Interns
are practically 2nd year residents and have really good clinical acumen. They require no support for charting and ordering in the health record. Their clinical questions are direct, on point, and succinct. They allow senior level residents to manage more complex patients. When July hits, it all starts over.

What a med student learns or doesn't learn in the final 3 months is pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Knowledge enhancement is good, but nothing compares to the incredible knowledge that is acquired in July. It's really quite dramatic how much doctors learn in that first month in July.
