State by State analysis is very interesting ...


I'm in New Mexico, .... no predicted bed shortage. Relatively small ICU bed shortage. (wonder how hard it is to make a regular hospital room into something ICU like)
Kids in Idaho at school ... no predicted bed shortage.
Utah ... no predicted bed shortage

Calif ... no predicted bed shortage

WHAT IS WRONG with New York ... why are they sooooo underresourced? New York has 1/3 the beds it needs, Calif has twice the beds they need? New Mexico has about 25% more beds than we need.

Is New York really that much lower in beds per capita? Or is there something else going on ...
