I wonder if BYU has a shot at this guy. He just went into the transfer portal

He's originally from the LA area and reportedly wants to get closer to home. He was originally a 2020 HS grad who reclassified as a 2019 recruit and graduated a year early. He's a high 4 star recruit (graded .9885 composite ranking). He originally narrowed his choices down to Kentucky and Stanford coming out of HS. If he was a Stanford recruit, he should at least fit the profile of someone who might fit at BYU. And there's the Mark Pope connection to Kentucky.
