I followed a grocery store employee as she walked into the store last night. She was talking loudly into her phone...
complaining that she was sick and didn’t want to work, but had to. After grabbing a cart and sanitizing my hands, I tried to track her down, but she ducked into the back of the store before I could catch her. So I told a store manager, who responded that none of his staff would do that. Argh!

Seriously, there were no more than twenty people in the store at the time and I knew she was an employee because of her store uniform. I also knew she would be working the shift for restocking the shelves because it was 15 minutes before closing. It’s my local store and I knew that’s what time the restocking crew comes in. Some of the shelves were nearly empty of product.
