I work part time at Home Depot and apparently the store I work at has beat their sale numbers from last year, everyday this week, by nearly 50% more. And we are closing at 6:00pm everyday right now... normally we close at 10:00pm.

Today we had met the stores sales goal at 1:00pm. The parking lot was as packed as I’ve ever seen it. Today was the first time over ever seen cars parked at the very back of our lot. I've worked there for 3 years and I’ve never seen that many cars in our parking lot like there was today.


Home Depot is doing some awesome things for their employees.

They gave everyone 40 hours of paid sick leave. If you are o,dear than 60, you got 120 hours of sick pay.
If you work over 20 hours a week they are giving a $50 bonus per week. If you work at or over 40 hours they are giving a $100 bonus plus ant overtime over 40 is being paid double your hourly wage.
